THE CHALLENGE

I was given the challenge of designing the layout and making all the graphics for the report, giving me almost absolute freedom.

Initially they wanted a PDF in vertical magazine format, maintaining the design of previous publications of the company, however, being a report that in principle were not going to make copies, I proposed a horizontal layout, for each chapter of the report I used a different range of colors to give a more colorful and visually appealing touch, I adapted these colors in the different graphics and images were selected with the same idea. The sizes of the different graphics were homogenized and I tried to homogenize everything to maintain a coherent style throughout the report.

Taking advantage of the title, “GAME OVER“, I proposed the possibility of making a wink to the display of the arcade machines, designing from scratch a Script type font family with a clear pixel art atmosphere.

This report was not initially going to be sent to print, however the Management was so pleased with the final result that it was decided to make a small print run, initially only for the day of the presentation, however, due to its great reception, after the event a second print run was made. A translator was also hired so I had to redo the whole report, changing the graphics, illustrations and infographics to adapt it to English.
